CRC Leadership

The CRC is led by a Board of Directors, and a Core Leadership Team, that function as the Executive Committee of the board.

The Core leadership team is made up of a representative of each of the major stakeholder groups in the CRC: The City of East Lansing, Michigan State University, an East Lansing community long-term resident, and an MSU student.

The Core leadership Team shares the responsibilities for the running of the organization in the following ways:

  • Provide leadership to the CRC Board
  • Communication
  • Public Relations
  • The ‘face’ of the CRC
  • Board meeting facilitation and agenda setting
  • Forum/event support
  • Oversee finances and administration, including paid staff members
  • Report to Board
  • Generate ideas
  • Outreach/membership
  • Make things happen!

Any of these functions can be led by the members of the Core team, or delegated to a member of the Board of Directors as appropriate.

The Board of Directors of theĀ  CRC meets monthly, with the exception of the summer months. The Core leadership team meets monthly throughout the year. Both of these meeting are open to any interested individuals. For more information, please contact crc@msu.edu.
